白州正子(Masako Shirasu）
(1910-1998) Born in Tokyo in 1910. He learned Noh from an early age, and at the age of 14, he became the first woman to stand in Noh and went to study in the United States. Returned to Japan in 1928 and married Jiro Shirasu (1902-1985) the following year. She has written essays on classical literature, crafts, antiques, and nature. He has authored numerous books such as "Noh mask," "Kakure-sato" "Takumi of Japan," and "Saigyo.
